Taking Action - Impact

Happy Saturday!

The path to making a real impact and uncovering hidden opportunities often begins with a single pivotal action.

Which is why this month we’re looking at taking action.

Alright, let’s get curious about taking action for impact.

Fear is the reason we don’t do the thing we say we want to do.

We can dress it up however we like, but fear is the hurdle.

There’s some good news here…

because it’s also a beacon.

As the Stoics say, “the obstacle is the path.”

Exhibit A, our CreateNext client, Danoosh.

I actually highlighted him in a LinkedIn post this week:

As I mention in the post above, Danoosh shared his progress this week on our Office Hours call.

TLDR: he not only decided to start posting on LinkedIn but he also decided to take what he’s been learning with AI and turn it into a paid event.

On our call, he shared how “fear,” and more specifically “imposter syndrome,” were welling up for him.

What’s curious to the outsider is that his posts did exceptionally well.

The numbers don’t lie (at the time of this publication, his posts here and here tallied these numbers):

  • 10 reposts

  • 4K+ in reach

What’s more, the two events he’s holding are 50% booked.

And, even with this…

he shared that “imposter syndome” clings on.

I share all this with you because, like we turned FEAR on it’s head (along with FOMO this week)…

we ALL need to use Danoosh as a model of using that “feeling in our gut” as a thing to move towards versus stop or run away.

Only when we take action and move (if not run) towards the fear can we move past it to experience all that is on the other side.

So, where are you going to take inspired action this week (especially if it scares the %$#@ out of you)?

I’m rooting for you (and I’m sure Danoosh is too).

And just like that, another week of learning and growing is over.

As always…

I’m in this with you shoulder-to-shoulder,

Kevin
